Soma Sutra has been formed with a vision to revive the glorious drink of Soma of the Rig Veda fame. In the Vedic era, the plant of Soma was considered a sacred plant and was personified as a divinity. The deity Soma was considered as the master of plants, the healer of diseases and bestower of riches.
The drinks/edibles made from the Soma plant was offered to the Gods and deities by sages/priests. In exchange of such offerings, sages/priests would seek the blessings of Gods and deities.
Soma Sutra believes that ancient Indian drink of Bhang /Sativa was referred to as Soma in Rig Veda.
Soma Sutra seeks to revive the usage of Bhang/ Sativa in India and other parts of the world as it believes that Soma/Bhang/Sativa is far superior, safer and healthier than other drugs and chemicals including easily available alcohol and various banned substances such as LSD, opium, cocaine and mushrooms.
